The Company of Heroes franchise has been around since the original game shipped in 2006. Created by the award winning development studio Relic Entertainment, Company of Heroes was incredibly well recieved. Not only did the game push graphical boundries, to the point where the game is still one of the best looking real-time strategy games years later, but just as much praise was doled out for the amazing gameplay. The game earned a great many awards, including numerous Best Game of 2006 and Best Strategy Game awards.

Late in 2007 Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts hit the store shelves. It was the first stand-alone expansion pack for the original game and in late 2008 the second, Company of Heroes: Tales of Valor, was announced.

THQ and Relic Entertainment still have big plans for Company of Heroes. The launch of this community site for fans of the game is one indication that the franchise will continue to grow.
