Had some fun creating a proposal for the RIA Faction, hope you all enjoy: 

Royal Italian Army Faction

The Royal Italian Army of WWII was primarily an infantry force with few mechanized units compared to their German allies. This faction relies on it's large infantry squads and a mix of light vehicles, towed weapons, and fixed turret armored units. 

ROYAL REGIMENTAL HQ

+ Rifleman "Fucilieri" Squad with Breda M30 LMG upgrade 

+ 35mm Mortar "Brixia Model 35" with low damage/high accuracy & munition-cost Rapid Fire Option to stun & suppress

Inferior hardware like that would make Italians impossible to balance against major Allied faction. One of the main problems with making them a full-fledged faction tbh. Unless you give them "lend-lease" German tanks or give their own tanks unrealistic stats they never had.

It depends on how Relic ends up making the game work. Looking at the Airborne for the Americans, it's a sub faction without any real heavy equipment. Having that match up against heavier Axis sub factions will be interesting. Having a similar situation of the Axis side would be equally interesting.

this is straight up copy i made from another thread about italian faction:

I think it would be fun if italy divided into 2, free italy/communist italy and the Fascist italy/Benito Mussolini Italy.

also Italian Tanks/cars can still do stuff,
- L3/35 mini tank equiped with MG could be a better anti infantry
- AS 42 can be Anti Air/Light armoured/Infantry
- M13/40 can be Light tank
- P40 special event / normal medium tank
- Semovente SPG can be Anti Tank or become some sort of close artillery kinda like Sherman 105mm (cause the shell HE is good)

Some additional tank that might be able to put in or might be controversial
- M24 chaffee for the Free italy
- Stuglll for captured free italy or fascist italy
- PzlV for captured free italy or fascist italy
- Stuarts for captured german/fascist italy or gifted tank for free italy
- Elefant as Super heavy tank(commander ability) for Fascist italy and/or Free italy (there's one elefant during italy landings altough weren't used and placed mines instead by the italians for traps and eventually captured by the US troops only having the suspension damaged)

i think it would be fun if the italian faction had some sort of minor slavic, african division coming from like hungary, bulgaria, turkey, ethiopia, etc.

FACTION: ROYAL ITALIAN ARMY make it happen!!!

I think it's ok, if P40 has similar stats to P4 or T34. But If it's come to heavy tanks, thus faction have to get the classic german ones

Would be glad to see italians take a big part in the game...
