On my desktop, which is a strong/expensive pure AMD machine I get very glitched minimaps when i make them in the essence editor. (see pic 1.)
On my laptop, which is an outdated intel-nvidia machine I get perfectly normal minimaps when I make them in the essence editor. (see pic 2.)

Any techinal help that I can recieve on this issue?
I have spent several days in the EE making a map where the minimap is totally bugged like in picture one, I get the same bug on all maps made on this amd dekstop computer.

Is there any help out there? :(

Make sure in your windows settings Essence is using your Graphics Card, not your internal generic one. That fixed a lot of flickering/bugs for me. By default Essence will use the windows integrated card.

I read this issue is also affecting people in the Age of Empires IV forums, no luck there either.

I have the same problem, but to respond to your question:

The info in my screenshot is how to make sure the essence editor is using your GPU, this kept the editor from crashing way less for me, but did nothing regarding the minimap on my end, it stays purple and the black L shaped green grid.
