First turn off the console and remove the mouse and keyboard from the USB. Then turn on the console and connect only the keyboard. Start the game and connect the mouse. I hope it helps.

Sometimes when gaming crashes on the PS5 it can be quite frustrating. Your suggestion is interesting and worth looking into. Sometimes the sound of the keyboard is really nice to hear.
