Hello everyone!

Welcome to this known issue list for PC specific bugs and issues.

Below you can find a list of issues that have been reported and are part of the live game. These issues are currently under review, being worked on or evaluated for future development. This list is not exhaustive and there are more fixes in the works. We will update this list around updates and according to player reports. We encourage you to report any issues that are affecting your experience and that are not captured on the list.

Update 1.9.0 Patch Notes

  • We are investigating an issue when playing in languages other than English (such as Simplified or Traditional Chinese), which can cause the game to temporarily stall on turn 2 of the Calabria tutorial in the Italian Campaign.
  • In Tournament mode during an observed match, when a player has more than 5 global upgrades, the upgrades don't scroll horizontally. This will be updated in a future patch.
  • Some units have duplicate items/attachments being displayed or animated. This will be updated in a future patch.
  • We are aware of a discrepancy in Veterancy tooltip descriptions in singleplayer.
  • Investigating an issue where some players become stuck on the splash screen before the main menu appears. We need additional reports and details to aid our investigation.
  • We are aware of an issue that Company of Heroes 3 may fail to start for some players.
    • This problem can be caused by an inaccessible documents folder - either due to inadequate permissions or Windows Controlled Folder Access. To check your Controlled Folder Access settings you can search for "Controlled Folder Access" in the Start menu.

    • If it is On, you can turn it Off, or if you prefer to keep it on, click on "Allow an app through Controlled folder access", then "Add an allowed app", then "Recently blocked apps" and select RelicCOH3.exe.

    • If Controlled Folder Access was not on you may also try running Company of Heroes 3 in Administrator mode. Find RelicCOH3.exe in your install folder, right-click, and select "Run as administrator".
