Welcome to this known issue list for PC specific bugs and issues.

Below you can find a list of issues that have been reported and are part of the live game. These issues are currently under review, being worked on or evaluated for future development. This list is not exhaustive and there are more fixes in the works. We will update this list around updates and according to player reports. We encourage you to report any issues that are affecting your experience and that are not captured on the list.

Known Issues


Update 1.8.0 Patch Notes

  • We are aware that some players are still experiencing an issue where Battlegroups will fail to load in Skirmish. Certain Steam Workshop mods may be causing this issue. As a workaround, you can try deleting your local.ini file which can be found in C:\Users\YOURNAME\Documents\My Games\Company of Heroes 3
  • We are investigating an issue where players are getting stuck on a splash screen when loading the game.
  • We are aware of some animation bugs with infantry weapons.
  • If you experience an issue where you cannot purchase an item for Merit in the store, please try resetting the store filters and it should resolve the issue.
  • The red pip on the Loadout is incorrectly staying even though a new item has not been added to the Loadout.
  • The Team Only chat option will be updated in the future with a more accurate description. Currently, this option will display all messages from your teammates, regardless if they are sent in the Team or All chat channels, though that is not clear in the settings. We will make this more clear in a future update.
