The imbalance in faction selection in Company of Heroes 3 has become a glaring issue, with up to 80% of players often favoring the Axis over the Allies. This not only disrupts the matchmaking experience but also affects the overall game balance and enjoyment. To address this, a more inclusive approach is needed. Players who stick exclusively to one Faction(or battlegroup) should face penalties, while a system is introduced to encourage diversity in faction selection. For instance, implementing a quota requiring players to occasionally play as all factions could lead to a more balanced and engaging environment. If players consistently stick to only one faction, they should face opponents with +200 higher ELO after every two consecutive wins to maintain balance and challenge. I enjoy playing as DAK, but ever since the new patch, I haven’t been able to find stable matches back-to-back. It’s been a frustrating experience—either I’m matched with complete beginners or high-level challengers. It’s draining the fun out of the game. Whenever I queue as random, I always end up getting the USF faction.

To further promote this, significant rewards should be offered for those who queue as "random" and embrace the unpredictability of playing any faction.
