The current penalty rules obviously need improvement! In situations where there is a clear shortage of players, the current rules are obviously holding us back. In multiplayer games, if someone disconnects or leaves, their team is obviously outnumbered! This clearly doesn’t lead to a good gaming experience. Conversely, the opposing players won’t feel much sense of achievement from winning when they’re outnumbered either! This is when the existing rules become very user-unfriendly. Only penalizing the first player to leave the game would be better. This would also make it easier for both sides to exit the game gracefully and find a new match more quickly, wouldn’t it?
