I've been working on this design for a few hours now, it's almost morning.
Inspiration was taken from the Mauler unit class:
So far I've adapted the design for the M36 Jackson, trying to give it an aesthetic that would draw from the source material while keeping it subtle enough to stay in line with the historical nature of Company of Heroes.
Any and all feedback is welcome, it's still a work in progress of course. If you have thoughts about the scales pattern ( keep it? fade it? remove it altogether? ), the emblem, or any part of the design, I'd love to hear it from both historical and non-historical fans.
Have a good day all!

Wow, that looks really awesome! Did you use Substance Designer?
this looks amazing would definitely like to see more!
Thanks, love your 422 skin, very fitting for the OKW.
Thanks, I used Photoshop; blocked out spaces with color overlay and some with stroke. The scales were made with Flash and defined as a pattern in PS. I'll post the texture later.
Trying to apply the same design concept to the ambulance, with a minor change; The ambulance symbol is replaced by the medic symbol from Valkyria:
And here's the result:
Was a bit tricky to find all the small parts in the ambulance texture, but of course it's all sill WIP.
Here's one for the Pershing:

The texture for the priest was very well organized, so it was great to work on it, and it took very little effort to find which parts belong where. Kudos to the guy from Relic who unwrapped/textured!
