So I decided to try my hand at skin creation despite my lack of knowledge aside from playing around with stuff and throwing out something until it sticks. The focus will be on the USF as of this production.
So far my inspiration has been this GRA scheme -I could be completely wrong I haven't actually played the games- though a little darker than usual due to how the CoH 2 Engine handles lighting and to avoid making it resemble pink in bright environments.
Below is a WIP of what the scheme would look like. Still needs lots of touching up and decals, but it's a start. Any critique would be much appreciated!

I think you could stand to up the saturation a bit of your skin overall. In the reference, the colors are more vibrant and the dark stripes pop off the design more. The in game lighting and spec maps tend to kill color a bit so you may need to bump it to overcome that. Nice start!
Yeah, it's something I plan to do after I finish my colour sheets. Here's what I got for a test in terms of adjusting the colour overlay so it's less dull. Also got a sketched version of the flag. No L because I wasn't sure if that's exclusive to a vehicle's class.
Here's what I consider done, in need of very minor touch-up. I've got more vehicles standing-by, I just need to adjust their colour to match these ones.
I like how the colors turned out, it's kind of "chocolate".
You don't need to worry too much about the color tones, as they'll always be a bit varied from one vehicle to another. I think the ambulance will be lighter, and the pershing and calliope will be a little different too, but that could work out as part of the general look.
