REPORTING, SANCTIONS & APPEALS

The Code of Conduct is a guide for our journey together as a community. Should you experience or witness any behavior that deviates from or violates the Code of Conduct, please help us by following the reporting procedures below. We do everything within our power to address all reports appropriately.

In-Game Reporting

Should you encounter another player violating the Code of Conduct or ruining your gameplay experience in Company of Heroes 3, please use the in-game reporting system. From the game lobby or while in a match, you can access the social functions next to the player's username. From there, select the Report option and fill in the form with all the relevant details. Use this process for any case of in-game violations, such as verbal abuse, griefing, or suspected cheating or game exploiting.

We do not require any additional screenshots, videos or replay files when submitting a report with the in-game system. This system provides us with significantly more verifiable data from our servers.

Company of Heroes Platforms

Should you encounter someone violating the Code of Conduct outside of Company of Heroes 3, such as on our official social or community platforms, please use that platforms built in reporting tools, or reach out to the appropriate moderators or support team. Additionally, you can contact our team by emailing enforcement@relic.com.

As noted in the Code of Conduct, we reserve the right to evaluate each incident on a case-by-case basis and to take action in relation to conduct/behavior that impacts our community, even where the infraction takes place on a third-party platform.

Appeals

Should you wish to appeal a suspension or ban, you can do so by contacting our Support team here.

Sanctions

Players will always be notified in-game if they have received a suspension or ban. Players will also receive warning notifications beforehand to let them know that they will be sanctioned if their in-game behavior does not change. Players will also be notified when we have taken action due to one of their recent reports.

Data Privacy & Protection

Relic monitors in-game activity using a secure software tool which has been developed internally by Relic. This tool collects certain data from players (such as hashed IP addresses, player IDs, etc.) and helps us to detect, investigate and prevent cheating in our games and tournaments, as well as all other violations listed in this Code of Heroes. Relic collects, processes, and retains this data, which may include personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Support

Should you require any technical help with your games or official Relic accounts, or need to file reports for past CoH titles, you may contact Sega Support.
