SPOILERS


May have gotten the name wrong - it's the mission triggered by Commander Norton where one has to rescue his nephew and comrades in a Stuart light tank. 


The mission kind of Broken and impossible to complete under some circumstances, but it's not a technical break it's just the way that it is scripted.

The Break


1) On expert-expert (hardest settings) you get the mission. 


2) You start the section of the mission that has you trying to rescue the other squads


3) Due to the player not having control of the other squads, once liberated the start moving toward the escape area on their own


4) Broken Part - due to the squads moving on their own, they run straight into the waiting machine gun and German squads and due to the difficulty they die very very quickly. No amount of smoke and explosive shells will prevent this, especially if you try to repair just before the final sequence (where they cross the road toward a house with machine gun, a blockade with two squads and a squad also on the other side of machine gun house)

Proposed Solution


1) Give the player command of the squads once they are liberated from their starting position OR once they reach the road before machine gun house.

The mission where you need to rescue Buckram's plane thieving officer is challenging in a fun way, despite being an atypical mission (no base, limited stuff) you have control over your squads and the officer doesn't run off and get himself killed. Right now this mission is challenging in a frustrating way due to loss of control, it's also a bit of a strange fit for COH being a squad game and this mission giving you a single unit.
