I've been experiencing issues with multiplayer for a long time now. I've tried to find an official statement from Relic but there's hardly any public communication about this matter.
First of all, how does the server system work? I ask this because when I face a player, I check it through CoH3 Stats Desktop App his nationality. If the opponent player is European, I don't have any kind of problem but if the player is American or Asian I have big problems.
At the start of the game (almost always 1v1) I always click on my first unit to capture the first point and during the path to the point I usually make a quick click to one side and then to the other and then I notice if the response times are slow or fast.
On the other hand, during a game, I also usually have freezes that last between 3 and 5 seconds, the game stops and then speeds up.
And finally, I have the feeling that sometimes clicks are not registered correctly. I am a player who makes a lot of clicks during the game.
In short, I don't think it's a problem with my connection or my system. This doesn't happen every day, but it would be nice to know what I can do in these cases.
Are there different servers?
Can I find out the ping to the servers?
In a matchmaking, can I find out which server is being used?
