Hi everyone, after this patch my game setting has set itself to have max 30 FPS even my PC could handle 60+ before patch.

Before patch i have to set FPS limit manually, because FPS option was lock (use configuration_system)
Now after patch everytime i start the game it automate lock to 30 FPS and cannot even change it manually.

(Game on 30FPS looks and plays as shit)

(even Game testing performence shows 120 fps on average, but setting is lock because 4 core)

Solution?

Someone found solution.

ye i did the same, i "solved" deleting the config file but every time i start the game i have to delete the file.... so annoyng
go to C:\Users\"name of user"\Documents\My Games\Company of Heroes 3
the file is called configuration_system

Yeah, its doesnt work anymore. before patch it wont reset. Now it will reset to 30 FPS limit everytime when i start a game.

any better solution?

It is not a CPU problem. I'm on a i5 8400 and GeForce 3060 and it happens to me too.

Previously I was able to reach 60fps (or more) on ultra. Now capped to 30fps looks like shit.

The mentioned workaround doesn't work for me either.

Devs, please fix it. You don't have to limit us to 30fps. We will limit it if we want to.

Hey folks, we're working on getting y'all out of the 30FPS prison. Seems like there was a knock on effect causing this setting to be greyed out for some players that shouldn't be capped.

Havin the same issue also:

Currently have a 5600x (6-core processor) with an RTX 3090,

Modifying the configuration_system.lua value for framelimit to 170 use to work for me. I get 100-120fps average on 1440p with my setup.

COH3 post Umber Wasp patch now locks my frame limit to 30fps smh

@COHdev fix the launch hardware check smh

Meanwhile i have another friend with COH3 running it on a Ryzen 5 3600

No fps lock issue though.

This has to be some bug for sure. Please fix

Thanks for raising this issue. Our team is aware of the problem and we hope to address it in the coming weeks. Right now our team is super focused on the December 1.4 update and the accompanying Expansion, as there is a lot to do for both of those. Stay tuned.
