No support received - premium currency related

Hi


I'm having an issue from the moment I purchased COH3, but only now I'm reporting it, because it didn't bother me too much before.


The issue is: I'm unable to purchase premium currency...



As you can see in the screenshot above, this currency isn't displayed alongside merit and it's grayed out on items in the shop.

I know it's not a region related problem, because I have a colleague living in the same city and he has access to it.


Now I want to explain why I titled my topic in this way...


It's because I used the bug reporting system from the "Bug Reporting" pinned and locked topic first, before coming to this forum and creating a topic about the issue and this is the answer I got from support:



Now this answer really pissed me off. In my honest opinion the whole point of bug reporting system is for me to not have to come to the forum and report it here. As I understand it, the people at support should be forwarding the issue to the developers, instead of the customer, who already reported the issue through the channel specified by the developer. Unless... this whole SEGA support is for lols and pissing off customers?


Therefore in this topic I'm:

- reporting the issue I have in the game

- reporting a complaint against SEGA support

Is there any support for this issue? Will I get any answer? Is Relic investigating this?

If you're experiencing this issue, could you let me know how you purchased CoH3? Did you get it directly from Steam, or a key reseller, or did someone gift it to you? And would you happen to be using Steam's Family Sharing at all?

Please add the option of buying a battlegroup with a war bonds

Both purchases through Steam:

Bought CoH3 on sale - 10 May 2024.

Later bought Hammer & Shield Expansion (without sale) - 21 May 2024.

I don't use family sharing.

Another thing we would ask people to check:

  • Open your browser
  • Go to steam://open/console
  • In the console, type licenses_for_app 1677280
  • Let us know what it says under "Depots"

I'm having the same issue as well. I have enabled Family sharing beta and members of my family also have CoH3, but I'm using my version of the game.
Located in Japan. Had access to the currency before.

Depots   : 1677281, 1677283,  (2 in total)
