Please add a button to allow facing MG's in garrisons, or add a way to set the facing on the MG and then allow it to autoface again afterwards. Right now we can face MG's in garrisons but they won't respond to enemies coming from another direction, even if you use an attack order on that unit.

Also, please fix the MG garrison bug. MG's randomly decide to retreat out of the garrison and off the map, based on what I'm guessing is building damage. When this happens you lose your squad. If this is intended then it's ridiculous with all the ways of dealing with MG's from flamers, mortars, nades, and free flares/smoke.

I am still baffled why they didnt keep those basics from COH2 and improve upon them..... why throw all away?

You can face MGs in garrisons by pressing rightclick and dragging the direction you want the squad to face.
