Hi,

I recently claimed two of the free battlegroups available, defensive Australian forces, and field espionage. Since then, I've not been able use any battlegroups during single-player skirmishes. During the skirmish, no faction, AI-controlled or not, can use any battlegroups. In the loading screen, the battegroups spaces appear empty. Inside the game, the battlegroup's icon appears gray and points are given but no skill is available to use. I read in a Steam forum that this has already happened to some people, but the troubleshooting didn't work in my case.

I have the same problem. In skirmish, battlegroups cannot be activated. How do we solve the problem?

This is a widely existing problem and it has had a very negative impact.I hope the official team will pay attention to this issue.

I know this was a known issue but the problem is not solved for me after the recent hotfix 1.8.2 and also after reinstallation of the game.

Can someone fix this please ?

Did you really choose some of the battlegroups? (see red circles)

I play coh3 more than 1000 hours now. Of course i selected the battlegroups.

In the lobby you can see them.

When the game starts they suddenly disappear and you can't use them.

We're aware that players are still encountering this issue. We're currently reviewing new player logs sent to us to help us hone in on a resolution. Sorry for the inconvenience in the meantime. But we're hoping to get this finished soon.

We are aware that some players are still experiencing an issue where Battlegroups will fail to load in Skirmish. Certain Steam Workshop mods may be causing this issue. As a workaround, you can try deleting your local.ini file which can be found in C:\Users\YOURNAME\Documents\My Games\Company of Heroes 3
