In what world does it make sense that the USF AA Halftrack with four .50 cal machine guns cannot suppress a squad, but BOTH German AA halftracks can instantly suppress a squad? The USF halftrack is already like paper compared to DAK AA halftrack, and USF halftrack can't even damage the wirlberwind. LEAST USF could get is suppression with the QUADMOUNT .50 CAL GUN. If ONE .30 machine gun can suppress, why can't this?
This is a matter of timing. it takes 125 fuel to bring out a Flak Halftrack where as for USF it's 70 fuel plus munition upgrades. The fair trade off would be locking the quad 50 behind the motor pool and it would still be less fuel to produce.

You're not looking at the big picture. You're focusing on a single point. The US as a whole is stronger than Africa, we don't have Greyhounds, we don't have Chaffees, we don't have self-propelled anti-tank halftracks with Marder shot radius. We also have the worst machine guns in the game (MG-34). This is offset by our anti-aircraft suppression capability.
Your anti-aircraft can't suppress - that's a fact, but its damage is many times higher, which is much more important vs planes

True. I get it, DAK doesn't have equivalents to chaffee or greyhound... but you can put AT squads into a different halftrack and shoot out of it... nobody else can do that. Also DAK has the grenade launchers... and that's usually enough to hold off until you get your better things... Big pictures changes everything... i'm trying to think of a literal application of 4 .50 cal machine guns shooting at a squad and not being able to suppress...
