Lately I've played a lot of US forces and I really have to say that Rangers are absolutly stupid. There is no hard counter to them. I've walked down Brummbärs and Tigers, machine guns and machine gun bunkers with just two Ranger squads with 2 zooks each (mostly I just have 2 rangers in a match). The only hard counter is the Wespe or Stuka but it's such a gamble to actual hit and wipe a squad so you hardly can say that artillery is the hard counter to them. Rangers with the Survival Training, the weapon training and cover to cover are nearly impossible to kill. Hard to kill is one thing and would not be that bad if they weren't good against everything. This is just such a bad gamedesign. Units good against everything are just not good for the game. I am not the first one who wants rangers to be totally changed and I will not be the last one.
I can tell you are either lying, or playing against rank 600s.
Even with 5 zooks, running down tigers and brummbars, best that you can hope for is not getting wiped. And if you don't get wiped, you'll bleed like crazy.
Or, you're playing against 600s, where tank coordination and support is non existent.

"REEEE. RANGERS OP. THEY DESTROYED MY SINGLE BRUMMBAR/TIGER (that was out of position)".
I can tell you are either lying, or playing against rank 600s.

Aha ... maybe try the infantry assault area (don't know the english designation) instead of med tent, one ranger left one ranger right and u mow down the brummbär. And accusing someone you have never seen playing or not knowing ones elo of lying is just pathetic.
I would be Happy if they would stop shoting zooks while moving. This looks and is stupid.
Yep. It would be much better, if they would have just an anti infantry focus. Like I have already said: Units good against eveything are bad gamedesign.

I looked at your player card. At best, you are being disingenuous. At worst, you are doing exactly what Gamwise is accusing you of doing. Your ELO as DAK is the same as your US ELO, so clearly you know how to do fight against rangers. Your win rate as DAK is 2% higher than your US win rate, but you somehow aren't calling for a nerf to DAK.
What are you doing while the US player is pulling in the 90 munitions (80 with ISC Surplus)? These give a random 2 weapons, which are not guaranteed to be what you need.
If you roll in with a couple of cheap light tanks and the US player hasn't had luck getting a bazooka, you're laughing all the way to the bank, especially if they don't keep a rifle handy or any other AT.
I agree that no unit should be moving and firing with Bazookas but also Flamethrowers should not be move and shoot for any units either.

You are talking like rangers and riflemen doesnt dominate everything axis can field on the units respective timing in the game, especially when rangers also get an early and cheap forward retreat..
Allied early game is so strong with literally any unit being stronger than their axis counterpart, they even have dingos and 4x4 which literally have zero counters. These vehicles also renders axis mortars, snipers, and partly MGs useless on certain maps.
How do you expect axis to compete against allies for ammo at this point of the game?
Rangers have been OP since they released, nerfed a little, but still counters absolutely every unit in the game and is extremely easy to use. Just press retreat button when in danger and you are good. The BG also gives usf the best arty in the game with auto fire.
They are meant to be high risk / high reward, but with all the cheese usf have available they are purely high reward (unless you F up big time).
Nobody would mind if rangers were removed from the game as they are boring to play with and against.
I think the perfect balance for Rangers would be a 4 slot limit for a start.
Second would be to remove both bazooka and flamer from use on the move from every unit in the game.
You cant hard nerf the running and gunning on just the Ranger WITHOUT also the same with the Gusto. They are possibly worse offender unit with its self smoke and then non micro, free sprint after.
Rangers suck to play against right now.
Gusto ALSO suck to play against (especially with the Axis stealth buff to units sharing damage un-till last 10% health).
