Just wanted to share my opinion that perhaps the German Tiger is perhaps too strong? Certainly compared to allied tanks (I play Brit)
I'm trying to use the 17-pdr to kill a Tiger, and 60% of the time I just get bounces, it's ridiculous how often it bounces. I then try and defend from a Tiger, whilst being assaulted by Italian flame troopers... Gestari or whatever they are called... Literally impossible as they leap and bound over every obstacle I throw at them.... Could we please get something like PIATs back or some sort of more mobile AT that can deal with this threat???
I even tried to use something like a Churchill or a Black Prince, and these both feel woefully inadequate when facing the threat of what is comparatively just a few German units. TLDR: PIATs and Firefly when?
The 17 pounder is an okay option but trying to move it around still has issues sometimes. Usually you're better off trying to plant a load of mines assuming you haven't immediately lost the field, having two AT guns supported by your own armor, and something to snare it as people who go for the tiger do often overextend.
It's tough as Brits though, USF can spam easy 8's or hellcats and deal with it fairly easily, but Brits do struggle a lot vs. heavy armor. Only other thing I could suggest would be to use the Archer or try an up-gunned crusader dive, preferably with the rocket strafe after it's been snared, stunned, or hits a mine.
PIATs are next, as per the videos that have been released, but sadly, they are commander-specific only to the Canadians, unless Relic give us a nice upgrade for Brits Engineers overall.
As to the Tiger, if it's 1 x 17-pounder gun (not black prince) facing it, it can drive straight past while taking maybe 50% damage. You really need to support it either through mines or snares from sections or, as mentioned, having a second AT gun covering the first.
